R&M Overview
This course provides attendees with an awareness of the basic concepts of reliability and maintainability, and will introduce and provide an overview of strategies for excellence in
this critically important discipline.
Course will review the basic R&M vocabulary, introductory math, basic R&M methods & tools, the direct and indirect costs of unreliability, the relationship between quality & reliability, and the relationship between reliability, maintainability, availability, and equipment productivity. Particular focus is placed on the importance of R&M to customers, the direct and indirect costs associated with poor R&M, and the role and importance of all employees to the basic R&M process.
