Life Cycle Cost Analysis

This course will provide an overview of life cycle costs, how they are calculated, and the practical measures that can be taken in the design process to minimize them. Exercises will be conducted to compare two design alternatives from a life cycle cost standpoint, and will demonstrate how a more expensive component may be less costly to the customer over the long run.
